alesforce Solution Specialist

Summary:
A Salesforce Solution Specialist designs, configures, and optimises Salesforce environments to align with business objectives. They translate stakeholder requirements into scalable solutions across Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud — ensuring seamless integration with third-party applications and overall platform performance.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Analyse business needs and map them to Salesforce capabilities.

  • Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions including data model, security model, and automation.

  • Configure Salesforce features (Flows, Validation Rules, Reports, Dashboards, Lightning pages, etc.).

  • Develop custom components using Apex, Visualforce, or Lightning Web Components (LWC) where required.

  • Integrate Salesforce with other enterprise systems (API, middleware, data migration).

  • Conduct testing, deployment, and user enablement activities.

  • Provide post-deployment support and optimisation recommendations.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and declarative configuration.

  • Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud.

  • Knowledge of data modelling, security, and automation tools (Flows, Process Builder).

  • Familiarity with Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and REST/SOAP APIs.

  • Experience with data migration tools (Data Loader, Dataloader.io, or MuleSoft).

  • Ability to engage with non-technical stakeholders and translate needs into solutions.

  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Solution Architectare highly desirable.
